My New Years Resolution.....

I know we are almost 7 months into the year but better late then never!!! Right? I am going to try and faithfully blog everyday or almost every day. Pinky swear!!!! I wish I would of continued to blog through all the changes in my life the past 2 1/2 years. I have been journaling my thoughts the past 2 1/2 years so maybe I will transfer pages of it to my blog one day. At least the ones I feel comfortable sharing. I added the blogger app to my phone to blog on the go. I have no excuses!!!

Back to my Blog............

It has been two months shy of 3 years since my last blog. A whole lot has happend since my last blog entry. I contemplated deleting my previous entries but then decided this blog carries wonderful memories of a life I once had, and will continue glorious memories present and future. I will fill in gaps of the past three years as I feel comfortable to share with others on my terms. I think my expieriences can help others that have been in my shoes or simular.

The last 3 years I have been through a divorce and have suffered from depression and anxiety. I have suffered from anxiety since a young age but the depression part was fairly new. I have pushed through all of it and have come out on top! I am focusing on me and it feels WONDERFUL! My baby boys are now ages 20 and 16 and my nephew is 2 1/2. See a lot of gaps I need to fill in I have a nephew:-)

Summer Camping Trip................

Mario and my brother-in-law Rick took all the kids camping. My sister-in-law Gina and her family went for 1 night over 24 hours to be exact. My brother-in-laws Boy and Tony went with their families as well. I did not go I had to work plus I really am not a camper. The kids had a blast! They were there for 3 nights and 4 days except Josh who came home a day early with Gina. He couldn't hack it:) The kids had lots of stories to tell when they got home!

So that is where my headband went!

Aaron started growing his hair out a couple of months before school let out in May. Those of you that know Aaron he has always had very short hair. I mean short as in a 2 on the top with a razor fade, front edge up(clipper talk). When his hair started growing to our surprise this thick, dark, gorgeous wavy hair appeared. We would of never of known he had wavy hair if he had not decided to grow his hair out. When it's wet and he combs it back in a messy look he has had several people tell him his hair looks like Edward Cullen (Which he does not like). Calm down Twilight fanatics he's only 13 years old(LOL). So with this thick wavy mess all summer it took everything in me not to take him to the Barber Shop! Last Saturday we finally took him to get it shaped and thinned out and it sure turned out nice. I took him to Mikey my hair stylist and now he can wear it wavy or he can flat iron it straight. He still wants to grow it out a little longer about a 1/2-1 inch.

My Baby Is Back........

My Joshie is home from Sacramento Yay! Josh left on May 25th to go and visit cousins in Sacramento. This was the first time he flew by himself. This was also the first time he has been away from me longer than a week and by himself for that matter. His cousins Alex and Marissa flew back with Josh on saturday and will be here all summer. I am going to have a house full of teenagers 2 17 year olds, a 15 year old and a 13 year old Yikes!

Just kidding it will be ok they are all good kids. Hopefully our pool will be put to use this summer. Mario plans to take the boys camping in July. I am not sure if Marissa will be going camping maybe if BreeAnn goes then Marissa can go. If not she can stay with me because camping is really not my thing. I have tried when the kids were younger without complaining. I just cannot grasp why it's fun to rough it? Sorry Mario but I am glad you enjoy it and I will never stop you from going. Thank you Mario for being so adventurous and taking the boys camping and teaching them to "Rough It" it makes them appreciate our home and all that they have and they think it fun also. And Mario thank you for not giving me a hard time because I am not a camper you know I can only handle it for the day!
